Townsville Worship Centre is a Church based in Douglas. We are a fellowship of Christian Believers affiliated with the Australian Christian Churches (ACC) and hope to connect worshippers from across the area, providing a warm and friendly place of prayer and worship. 

About us

At Townsville Worship Centre, we are passionate about teaching and preaching biblical truth. We started seven years ago and have grown in number.
Our office hours are  9am to 12noon Monday to Friday.
Church service Sunday 10am

Our priorities

Townsville Worship Centre has three main priorities. First is the worship of God and the preaching and teaching of the Holy Bible. Secondly, we are passionate about prayer for the nations and for the church worldwide. Lastly, we hope to provide a wholesome, caring community through which believers can reach out to young and old alike.

In other words, we come to all nations, to all and every person and persons, with the message of the gospel of Christ, a universal gospel, the gospel of God (Romans 1:1).

We believe in the imminent return of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. We believe in his plan for the nations and for the church of Israel.

We believe in the present working of The Holy Spirit, His gifts and His enablement to “be and do” His will until he comes.

Our history

Five years ago, four people gathered in the lounge room of a private home for a session of worship, prayer and bible study. From those obscure and humble beginnings, we moved to the renting of premises in the leafy suburb of Riverside Gardens. Steadily, our group has grown to nearly 200 people.

Join us today

Already, there are over twenty different nationalities represented in our growing and united congregation. You are welcome to join with us in worshipping, serving and seeking God. Join us every Sunday at 10am at the Townsville Worship Centre.
